Why this portfolio works
Democracy is built in the two years between elections, by organizers who show up, train, and hold communities together. Sustaining that work takes a full pipeline, not just the people already doing it.
Each organization here plays a role none of the others fill: recruiting new organizers, deepening the skills of organizers already in the field, equipping communities for direct action, scaling local work into statewide infrastructure, centering Black-led organizing strategy, and rebuilding civic trust with people leaving authoritarian movements. Every one has demonstrated results, and every one was chosen over other qualified groups for how its work strengthens the rest. That's a fuller organizing pipeline than any single group could sustain.
