Why this portfolio works
Local chapters of the national Indivisible movement are on the front lines of defending democracy in their communities. They organize neighbors, hold elected officials accountable, register voters, and turn out volunteers — all while rooted in the specific needs and opportunities of their place. This portfolio supports four strong local chapters doing that work in different parts of the country.
Each chapter brings a distinct local strategy: Twin Cities organizes a large metro area, Houston builds power in a diverse Southern city, Tohono advances Indigenous civic engagement on tribal land, and Scottsdale mobilizes suburban Arizona. Together they show how local organizing scales into national civic strength.
